Cold clouds covered the December morning sky. Walking into the building for an indoor extended family session was a warm welcome from the spitting rain and snow outside. Excitement from family together and holiday plans seemed to dance around the room. Or many we were actually dancing around the room. Silly children’s music blasted in the background bringing a smile to everyone’s face. The things we do for smiles.
The Soelter family planned to take their winter pictures indoors at Better to Gather. This venue provided a beautiful space with modern furniture and neutral backdrops that complimented the family’s outfit choices perfectly. I loved the white brick walls next to the big open window. It gave beautiful bright light to their smiling faces. The neutral creams and caramels of their outfits gave a warm glow to the photos on the otherwise brisk December morning. Sweet cuddles and high energy grand boys were the theme of this session and made some of the most precious photos.
Heather and John, you have such a beautiful family! It was a delight to meet all your new additions and see you two as grandparents. I loved how much your smiles grew as you watched your grand boys playing. I hope that you were able to treasured up your time together and it won’t be too long before it happens again. Heather and John, thank you again for choosing me to capture your indoor extended family session.
