The wind was blowing a storm in as we searched Pioneer Park for pops of floral colors. A giant lilac bursting with purple blooms and the most heavenly aroma stood tall and proud of its spring attire. The deep purple mixed with the green foliage made a perfect backdrop for Samantha’s blue cap and gown. The wind gently tossed her hair and gave movement to her graduation tassel. Samantha pushed through the cold chill in the air with a smile and finished up her cap&gown session before the first drops of rain started to fall.
Cap and Gown sessions are some of my favorites with all the anticipation and excitement for graduation day building. With an end of high school days quickly approaching, I love hearing about the highlights of senior year. Here are Samantha’s:
What was the best part? Senior activities with friends. What was the hardest part? Government. What will you miss? Friends that are attending other schools. What are your future plans? Elementary Education at MSUB. (Something about my former students picking careers in teaching makes my heart smile.) What are you looking forward to the most after graduation? Not having to wake up at 6am every day! What are you the most nervous about after graduation? Paying for college. What is your advice to the junior class? Do all the activities for your senior year.
Samantha, I’ve loved having you as part of my spokesmodel team this year! It was so much fun to spend time with you and get to know you more than just as a 6th grade math student. 😉 You are a sweet, caring, beautiful girl and I know you will accomplish amazing things. From your first senior session all the way to your cap&gown session, I have loved having you in front of my camera. Samantha, thank you again for choosing me to capture your senior year!
