Abby’s Iris Field and Mountain Senior Session was a marathon of a day. Literally from sun up to sun down. Although we missed peak bloom at the iris field, we still managed to snuggle up close to a few blooms that were holding on. Abby powered through the light rain like it wasn’t even there and quickly warmed up to the camera. The wind was WORKING for Abby in Red Lodge, giving “model without even trying.” We found the cutest little nooks of town (of course among the flowers). And were even photo bombed by a horse and carriage! (Ok, we saw them coming and made sure to snap a few…) Don’t even get me started on the perfect wildflower field we found and the AMAZING sunset we thought we were going to miss!
Abby is a joyful, gorgeous senior who was 100% on board with my crazy ideas of making her sit on the dirty ground, in the freezing water, and even hike through a field. At one point she literally told me she thought we were lost, then she saw all the flowers! By the end of our session she was skipping through the field and yelling “Let me see! Let me see!” as we oohed and awed over her sunset photos. I just LOVE IT when seniors let loose and have fun like she did. Abby’s style was the cutest with her flowy dresses, layered jewelry, and cowgirl boots.
Abby, I just love photographing you! You are seriously a NATURAL in front of the camera. You have the most beautiful smile and glow that made our session perfect. I’m so happy to have you as a KHP Spokesmodel and I can’t wait to get to know you more with each session. I know this will be your best school year yet and I can’t wait to help you capture it! Abby, thank you again for choosing me to take your beautiful iris field & mountain senior session portraits.
