The sun was setting, casting a beautiful glow on the rims. Everyone was out enjoying the views and taking in the perfect weather. Eyes followed Emily and Jake as we walked by. Smiles and shouts of “Congratulations!” could be heard every few minutes. We hiked through the grass, down the dirt hills, over the rocks. The whole time, both Emily and Jake were smiling from ear to ear. Like Prince Charming, Jake bent down to buckle Emily’s delicate lace heels while she balanced on the uneven rock. The only thing that could’ve made this scene more romantic would have been if “So this is love” (from Cinderella) started playing in the background!
It’s been ONE whole year since Emily and Jake got married! I was so excited when they asked me to take anniversary pictures for them on the rims of Billings. It was so fun to see how much their love for each other has grown in a year and I loved that as one of Emily’s bridesmaids I was able to capture this special anniversary for them. I loved the way their smiles came to life when they looked at each other.
Emily and Jake, you are both wonderful individually, but compliment each other beautifully as husband and wife. I love that my children have such spectacular role models to look up to. I can’t wait to see where this next year of marriage will take you! Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your one year anniversary! Happy 1st Anniversary!
