It was so much fun to be back at Riverfront Park for Jennica’s cap and gown session because this is where we started the year with her senior session! Once again, it was a beautiful Montana day. Even Winston, Jenni’s dog, thought so because we couldn’t keep him out of the water! I’ve loved photographing Jenni throughout the year, but seeing her with Winston and capturing that love is just the best.
The warm evening called for some ice cream (always a good idea.) While we indulged, I interviewed Jenni about her year.
Overall how did the year go? Fun and fast. What was the best part? Being involved with Student Council. It made the year fun. What was the hardest part? Friends leaving. My friend who is a foreign exchange student will be going back to Germany soon. What will you miss? Working with the life skills students. What are your future plans? MSUB and a special education teaching credential. (Way to go girl!) What are you looking forward to the most after graduation? Not going to high school all day, 5 days a week. What are you the most nervous about after graduation? Adulting. (It’s hard for us all, but there are a lot of perks!) What is your advice to the junior class? Senioritis is a real thing, but you can’t let it get to you. Make sure you stay on top of your work and it’ll go by really fast.
Jennica, I’ve loved having you as part of my spokesmodel team this year! It was so much fun to spend time with you and get to know you more than just as a 6th grade student. 😉 You are a caring, spunky, beautiful girl and I know you will accomplish amazing things. You have a good heart Jenni, trust it. Even if you aren’t 100% sure what path you want to take, I don’t think it’ll steer you wrong. Jenni, thank you again for choosing me to capture your senior year!
