What could be more patriotic than starting off July exploring Downtown and Norm’s Island for Senior Portraits with a young marine. Our session started right after a thunderstorm rolled through, and ended right as we were feeling the drops of the next storm come in. Downtown was the perfect backdrop for Gavin’s uniform against the old brick buildings and the American Flag mural. Gavin ended his session on the banks of the Yellowstone river and I loved how he chose casual layered fits to incorporate into his session.
Gavin was such a great sport throughout his session with trying multiple poses, locations, and outfit changes. Once he changed into his Young Marines outfit, he really came to life. He became interested in being a Marine after watching the movie Major Payne. He has now been part of the Young Marines for 6 years, earning a chest full of ribbons. His knowledge for all things Young Marines is impressive and although I tried to keep up, I could only remember a few key terms.
Gavin, I had so much fun getting to know you and hear all about the Young Marines. I hope you had at least a little fun too. 😉 I can’t wait to hear about all your accomplishments this coming year about your career center classes when I see you for your Cap&Gown session in the spring!
