The sun warmed the brick building. It casted a golden glow on this spring evening. The downtown lights were just starting to come on creating little sparkles in the background. The street was quiet; a reminder summer was not yet here. We discussed how prom went for each girl and moved to the old depot bench. I commented on how they looked so beautiful and a polite smile appeared on their faces. As the conversation continued they looked at each other and Natalie said “Your lashes are gorgeous!” Jennica lit up. Once again their personalities and genuine kindness shone bight. It amazes me how such a simple, true comment can change the whole demeanor of a person. And yes, her lashes are gorgeous!
This prom spokesmodel spring session has to be my favorite spokesmodel session so far! I LOVED photographing the flowy gowns and mini bouquets. Both Natalie’s dress and Jennica’s complimented their style and figure beautifully. But my favorite part would have to be capturing the amazing twirl capabilities of Jennica’s dress! I enjoyed our conversations about my prom style being “so early 2000’s” 😉 and how the girls were so supportive of each other when it came to fighting body insecurities. They have truly been the best for all our spokesmodel sessions!
Natalie and Jennica, it has been such a joy to be part of your senior year! I loved having you as my 1st generation spokesmodels. You two are so beautiful and kindhearted. I loved getting to know you even more. You have been a blessing to me this year as I grow my business, I can’t thank you enough. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
